Historically Black Colleges Sign Deal to Buy $250-Million Worth of Hardware and Software
The nation's historically black colleges have signed an agreement with Gateway Inc. and Microsoft Corporation for the colleges, their students, faculty members, and alumni to buy $250-million worth of computer hardware and software. Gateway officials said the products would be steeply discounted.
