Hispanic People on Campuses, Today and Tomorrow
To the Editor:
"Academe's Hispanic Future" (November 28) provides a solid set of reasons why the goal of increased diversity in academe is not just a good idea or the right thing to do. It is, quite simply, a logical response to changing circumstances. In fact, it may be the best way to ensure that the American system of higher education continues to enjoy its pre-eminent position in the world.
