Hillsdale College Drops 4 Sports Teams
They can't blame this one on Title IX.
Hillsdale College announced this month that it would eliminate four varsity sports from its athletics program because of budget constraints caused by a reduction in endowment income.
College officials are dropping three men's teams and one women's team, but the decision is unrelated to gender-equity considerations.
