Helping Students Go to College; the Value of a Degree
The American Educational Research Association held its annual meeting this month in the shadow of the San Diego Padres' new stadium. More than 12,000 scholars resisted the lure of baseball and San Diego's famously sunny weather and stayed in windowless conference rooms for sessions on, among many other topics, student-aid and admissions policies.
