Help Student-Loan Borrowers by Allowing Them to Refinance, Report Says

Student-loan borrowers should be able to refinance their debt in the same way as homeowners, corporations, and governments, according to a report released on Wednesday by the progressive advocacy group Campus Progress. The lower monthly payments would free up more of a borrower's income to spend in ways that would stimulate the overall economy, argue the report's authors.
