Healthy but Unappealing Food in the Dining Hall
To the Editor:
I was very amused to see your article about students' requests for healthier foods despite their apparent preference for pizza and French fries ("Students Won't Give Up Their French Fries," July 12). As a college student, I certainly desired a heathier selection, but the health-food choices were anything but appetizing: lettuce with brown edges, soggy pasta, mealy apples, wilted vegetables, and dry chicken.
Moreover, the cost of a healthier meal was always more
