Health-Insurance Plan Set for Peru's Students
Students at many of Peru's state universities will be covered by a new, government-run health-insurance program starting this month.
At the outset, the program will cover students at 12 of Peru's 28 state universities, or about 89,800 of the approximately 300,000 enrolled. Over the next two years, it will be expanded to offer coverage to all postsecondary students.
