Head of Patriot League Takes Job in Women's Pro Basketball

The commissioner of the Patriot League has been drafted by the pros.

Constance H. Hurlbut was named director of basketball operations by the Women's National Basketball Association last week.

The W.N.B.A. became the only professional league for female basketball players in the United States when the American Basketball League folded, in December.
