Head of Alabama's 2-Year College System Is Accused of Secret Deals
Alabama's troubled two-year-college system has a new chancellor, but it has not been able to escape controversy.
Thomas E. Corts took over as acting chancellor of the Alabama college system in August after his predecessor, Roy W. Johnson, was fired amid concerns about possible nepotism and his capacity to lead during an investigation of corruption in the system.
