He Doesn't Like the Midwest

She's got her dream job. He hates the location. What to do?

Question: Although I come from more cosmopolitan roots, I'm loving my job in the rural Midwest. The problem is my very disgruntled spouse ("Peter") who really, really, really hates it here and, no matter how much he loves me, can't stay.
