Harvard to Increase Financial Aid for Grad Students Preparing for Public-Service Careers
Harvard University announced this month that it would provide more than $14-million in additional grants to its top graduate students working toward careers in public service or research.
The university also plans to offer a new low-interest loan program for all graduate students, and to encourage alumni to support graduate programs in public service.
Harvard's moves could lead other elite institutions to follow suit in the competition for top students.
