Harvard Women Get More Tenure Offers
For the first time in four years, Harvard University's Faculty of Arts and Sciences has increased the number of tenured jobs it offered to women, The Boston Globe reported.
While the change is small -- of the 33 tenured positions offered in the past year, 9 were to women, as opposed to only 4 of the 32 offers made the previous year -- it may be an indication that female faculty members are on the rise at Harvard.
