Harvard Students Say Thefacebook Is a Rip-Off of Their Idea
Imitation, according to the old maxim, is the sincerest form of flattery.
But that's small consolation to a trio of students at Harvard University, who say that Thefacebook -- the immensely popular social-networking site started by Mark Zuckerberg, a Harvard undergraduate (The Chronicle, May 28) -- is just a rip-off of an idea they began working on first. (Mr. Zuckerberg denies that charge.)
