The Harvard Medical School plans to double what it pays doctors to teach its students, from $8-million to $16-million, in an effort to draw more physicians to take time out of their lucrative practices to serve as instructors, The Boston Globe reported this morning. The goal of the school and its three teaching hospitals is to pay doctors $100 per hour of instruction.
