Harvard Picks Former Treasury Secretary as Its Next President
Harvard University has picked Lawrence H. Summers, a former treasury secretary, as its next president. A scholar who earned his doctorate at Harvard, Mr. Summers says he plans to improve undergraduate education and explore ways to increase the university's presence in a global economy shaped around knowledge.
