Harvard Narrows Search for Nieman Foundation Director; 33-Year-Old Vies for 3rd College Presidency; Penn Law School Names One of Its Own as Dean
Harvard University is narrowing its search for a new director of the Nieman Foundation for Journalism, and two names have surfaced as finalists: John S. Carroll, editor of The Sun in Baltimore, and Ellen Goodman, a nationally syndicated columnist based at The Boston Globe.
