Harvard Hires 2 Scholars of Cognitive Development; Renowned Logician at Indiana U. Will Rejoin Several of His Former Professors at Pitt

Harvard University called, and Susan Carey and Elizabeth S. Spelke answered. They will join the psychology department in the fall of 2001, replacing two eminent professors, Jerome Kagan and Sheldon White, who are about to retire.
