Harvard Business School Sets Fund-Raising Record
Harvard Business School has raised nearly $600-million in its first capital campaign, the largest amount ever taken in by an American business school.
The money will be used for student aid, faculty development, global research, technology, and building projects. The three-year campaign surpassed the goal of $500-million, set in 2003. It also topped the $446-million raised by the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School in a drive that ended in 2003.
