Harding U. Hopes to Rent Athens Campus to Equestrian Team During 2004 Olympics
Harding University officials weren't horsing around when they sat down at the negotiating table to work out renting their campus in Athens to the equestrian team of either the United States or Australia for the 2004 Olympic Games.
"It's a great location," said Jeffrey T. Hopper, dean of international programs. "They are building the equestrian field a mile away." He also noted that the campus is ideal because it is fully enclosed and highly secure.
