Growth in Foreign Applications to American Graduate Schools Slows
Foreign applications to American graduate schools this year increased for the third straight year, but the rate of growth slowed significantly from 2007, according to an annual survey released today by the Council of Graduate Schools.
After an increase of 12 percent in 2006 and 9 percent last year, the number of applications this year increased by just 3 percent. Over all, the number of international applications is down 16 percent since 2003.
