Group Urges NCAA to Cut Ties to Beer Company; Professors Seek College-Sports Reforms
Seen and heard at this year's Final Four:
The men's basketball championship has become a staging ground for groups to protest National Collegiate Athletic Association policies. This year a public-interest group called on the NCAA to cut its ties to Anheuser-Busch to help curb alcohol problems on college campuses; and a faculty group concluded a two-day academic conference on athletes and the education they receive.
