Group Sets Guidelines on Troubled Students
The Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law released a list of best practices last week for colleges and universities in dealing with students with mental-health problems. The guidelines emphasize encouraging such students to seek counseling early and protecting them against disciplinary action that might exacerbate mental-health conditions and dissuade others from seeking help.
