Group Says Tiffin U. Violated Academic Freedom in Dismissing Professor
Tiffin University violated an English professor's academic freedom when it dismissed him and then banished him from the campus without explaining why, according to a report of an investigation by the American Association of University Professors.
The report also criticizes the absence of a tenure system at the Ohio college, and says its policies on faculty governance are "seriously deficient." The report appears in the January-February issue of the association's magazine,
