Grants Let Medical Scholars Explore Uses of Next Generation Internet
The National Library of Medicine is awarding a total of $2.3-million to 24 projects aimed at helping doctors treat patients and conduct research over high-speed Internet links. The projects range from planning for "nomadic" clinics in rural areas to tests of on-line medical instruction.
