Graduate Students Need to Compare Many Factors in Universities' Offers

It seems obvious to me that the more support a university provides (be it benefits or stipend), the less time a student spends worrying about how to make ends meet ("Stipends Are Key in Competition to Land Top Graduate Students," September 28). This, in turn, leads to a better ability to focus on that all-important research.
