Graduate Students Miss the Point
To the Editor:
As a business professor, I know little about the Modern Language Association. But the graduate students' rebellion sounds mildly loopy ("Graduate Students Win Concessions at Contentious M.L.A. Meeting," January 8). (I would be surer in that judgment had the story provided more details on the graduate students' precise desires and on the content of any opposing positions.)
