Grade Inflation as a Logical Outcome
To the Editor:
In the February 14 Notebook and several earlier articles related to grade inflation, I found no reference to the academic preparation of the student, the training of the faculty, the changes in the learning environment, or the use of technology in the classroom.
It always amuses me when institutions of higher education compete to get better students, promote improved teaching effectiveness, and encourage their faculty members to consider the learning styles of
