Government May Fine 2 Universities for Payments to Recruiters
The U.S. Department of Education's new crackdown on incentive compensation for recruiters continued last month, as audits by its Office of the Inspector General led to recommended fines for William Penn University and Olivet Nazarene University.
The institutions may be required to repay a combined $8.1-million in federal financial aid for compensating a contractor based on success in securing enrollments.
