Government Issues New Rule Requiring Ethics Training for Researchers
The federal government issued new regulations this month that will require universities to instruct researchers about ethics and scientific fraud. The final rules retreated from an earlier draft, requiring colleges to give such training to fewer people and offering more flexibility in how ethics are taught.
The regulations were released by the Office of Research Integrity, the branch of the Department of Health and Human Services that oversees investigations
