Gore Urges Colleges to Increase Opportunities for Job Training and Adult Education

Vice-President Gore last week called on community colleges and other higher-education institutions to work with businesses and labor groups to increase opportunities for adult education and to develop more courses that focus on specific job skills.

The Vice-President also proposed tax credits, grants, and other measures to support and encourage lifelong learning.
