Good Health Care Is More Than Medicine
Americans frequently assert that the United States has the best health-care system in the world. Yet according to "The World Health Report 2000," published in June by the World Health Organization, the United States ranks 37th out of 191 countries in health-care systems, behind most of the rest of the developed world.
