Good Grades, by the Sword

Students in the course, "Beginning Theatre Movement," at California State University at San Bernardino, had no choice but to fight for a good grade this past year. They had to script and perform an elaborate sword fight for their final exam, which took place in front of a live audience on a grassy area on the campus. The scenes included spinoffs from such tales as The Princess Bride, Peter Pan, and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

The exam capped off a course in which students learned
