Goddard College Allows Faculty to Unionize
Faculty members at Goddard College voted last month to unionize, and did so with the blessing of the institution's Board of Trustees.
In an unusual move for a private college, the board waived its right to legally challenge the collective-bargaining effort.
For close to 20 years, most private colleges have quashed unionization attempts by invoking the 1980 U.S. Supreme Court decision National Labor
