For the Spies-Bornemann Center for Education and Technology: $125,000 from Ruth Anderson, $100,000 from Siri Eliason, and $100,000 from Sydney and Bob Anderson.

University of Rochester. For programs in the arts, sciences, and engineering, and for two professorships: $10.2-million from the estates of Helen (Bunny) F. and Fred Gowen.

Youngstown State University. For scholarships: $100,000 from the family of Shorty Navarro.
