Massachusetts Institute of Technology. For a center for technological innovation: $20-million from Desh and Jaishree Deshpande.

Michigan State University. For the law school: $4-million from Geoffrey Fieger.

Northwestern College (Iowa). For scholarships: $2.1-million from the estate of Margaret Surbeck.
