German Graphic Design and Anti-Semitism

To the Editor:

I am compelled to object to the editorial decision that reproduced a lurid anti-Semitic Nazi poster on Page B3 (The Review, August 10). The poster highlighted a very brief and not very informative article on German graphic design ... ("Designed Contradictions," End Paper). While I strongly support freedom of the press and thus the discussion of controversies, we ought also to be able to expect better editorial taste. If the vicious and rampant anti-Semitism displayed
