Georgia Tech Concludes Cheating Inquiry and Issues Penalties
A plagiarism investigation at the Georgia Institute of Technology has resulted in admissions of guilt by a majority of the students who were suspected of copying computer-science homework last fall.
Of the 187 students investigated, 136 have received penalties, which varied depending on the severity of the cheating. Seventy-seven students had their final grade for the class dropped by at least one letter; 26 received an F in the course;
