Georgetown College Quits Baptist Group
Georgetown College is severing its ties to the Kentucky Baptist Convention, a move that will make the college independent at the price of more than $1-million in annual support.
The change will allow the college to select members for its Board of Trustees. Since 1942 the members have been picked by the Baptist convention.
