George Washington U. Cancels Classes During World Bank Protest

The protests in Washington this week may seem like the perfect opportunity for some 60's-era activism, but George Washington University wants nothing to do with them.

Thousands of protesters, including many college students, are expected to converge on Washington during meetings of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund, to protest global capitalism. George Washington's campus is just a few blocks away from the World Bank's main building.
