Genetic Study Finds Clues About Autism
In the largest genetic study of autism to date, 137 researchers in North America and Europe report that they have identified several chromosomal regions linked to the disorder. The work, they say, will pave the way for identifying particular genes associated with autism and related disorders, which affect about one out of 150 people in the United States.
