Gay Students Accuse Boston College of Bias for Canceling AIDS Benefit
Leaders of a gay students' group at Boston College said last week that college officials had canceled an AIDS fund-raising dance planned for early December.
The students accused the administration of discriminating against students on the basis of their sexual orientation. Administrators of the Roman Catholic institution said they declined to approve the event because it did not appear to be open to all students.
