Gay Employees Win Benefits at Wake Forest U.
Wake Forest University announced plans last month to extend its employee benefits to the domestic partners of its gay faculty and staff members, becoming perhaps the first college with Baptist ties to do so.
In making the decision, Wake Forest's board followed the policies adopted by nearly 120 other colleges and universities around the country.
