An apparent leak of carbon monoxide at Roanoke College this morning killed one person, seriously injured another, and put dozens more in the hospital, according to a regularly updated page on the Web site of The Roanoke Times. All of the victims, who ranged in age from 15 to 82, were staying in dormitories as part of summer programs at the college, which is located in Salem, Va. The source of the deadly gas has yet to be identified.
