Garrison's Pretty Good Poetry
Recently I was driving the Interstate early on a Saturday night, heading to the Big City for a Big Night with my baby. NPR news had finished, and, in my part of the world anyway, just as night follows day, on Saturdays A Prairie Home Companion follows Weekend Edition. Robyn and I were talking about the week gone by and the one to come, as Garrison Keillor kept up his soothing patter in the background, hardly audible above the sound of car wheels on an asphalt road.
