GOP Higher-Ed Leaders Lose Posts in 2 States
Democrats fared well in many state elections this month, with the party winning new majorities in both chambers of legislatures in three states where Democrats also held, and still hold, the governor's office.
Those three states, where Republicans previously controlled at least one portion of the legislatures, are Delaware, New York, and Wisconsin, according to Stateline.org. That brings to 17 the number of states where the governor is a Democrat and both houses of the legislature have
