Furor Erupts Over Failed Search for U. of Iowa President
Iowa officials have been scrambling to calm the anger over the failed search for a new president of the state's flagship university.
The furor erupted when the state Board of Regents announced in November that it was terminating its search for a successor to David J. Skorton, who left the presidency of the University of Iowa last summer to take the helm at Cornell University.
