Fund Raisers' Group Loses President

Vance T. Peterson, president of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, resigned unexpectedly at the end of 2003, just three years after taking office.

The resignation was a surprise to employees of CASE, the leading professional organization of people who work in alumni relations, communications, and fund raising in higher education.
