Freudian Slip-Up?
Sometimes a sculpture is just a sculpture. But sometimes, when it's a bust of Sigmund Freud with a gun pointed at his nose, it's just offensive.
That's what some people at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania are saying after just such a sculpture was plunked in front of the behavioral-sciences building in April, part of an outdoor exhibition of artwork by students and faculty members at colleges in western Pennsylvania.
