Fresno State U. Settles Sex-Discrimination Lawsuit for $3.5-Million
A former athletics official at California State University at Fresno has settled her sex-discrimination lawsuit against the university in return for $3.5-million.
The official, Diane Milutinovich, was associate athletics director at Fresno State from 1991 to 2002, when, she said, she was forced out because she was a vocal advocate of giving more opportunities to female athletes. She had worked in the athletics department since 1979.
