Frequent Flier: One Faculty Athletic Rep's Busy Schedule

On top of the 10 to 15 hours a week that many Division I faculty representatives say they spend doing that job, an increasing number are serving on NCAA committees. A new NCAA requirement calls for 20 percent of the association’s most powerful committees to be made up of faculty athletics representatives. As a result, some 40 Division I faculty reps will have busy days ahead.
